"The glass-coating 2007 Burmester Vintage Port sports a fragrant perfume of plum, boysenberry, spice box, and licorice. Mouth-filling and layered, it has excellent volume, well-concealed tannin, and impeccable balance. This savory, lengthy wine has the stuffing to evolve for 10-15 years and should drink well through 2032. It is also an excellent value in quality Vintage Port."

"Good deep ruby. Currant and fresh herbs on the nose, lifted by a strong spiciness. A smooth, suave midweight in the mouth, with lovely integrated acidity and a whiff of pepper giving shape and energy to the juicy black fruit and licorice flavors. A bright, delineated wine with a lovely light touch. May not have quite the density for the long haul, but the persistent, perfumed finish suggests that this will evolve well for at least 20 years."
Region: Douro, Portugal
Grape(s): Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz
