This lovely little wine from Sicily is made from the main grape of that area, Nero d'Avola. Similar in style to Australian Shiraz, this wine is fermented in cement tanks to maintain its fruit integrity. Red plums, blackberry, and a hint of licorice are evident on the nose and palate. Well-balanced acid and tannins lead to a nice finish.
