Conti di Buscareto Lacrima di Morro d'Alba 2009

Called “black tears” in Italian, these grapes actually weep droplets of juice when fully ripe. The resulting wine is deep beet-red with excellent concentration, though surprisingly only medium-bodied. Aromas of orange peel and cranberry deepen into tobacco and leather with mineral and spice on the finish.
