Brewer-Clifton Pinot Noir Santa Rita Hills 2009

Winemaker Note - "Our 2009 appellation pinot noir is sourced largely from our own managed vineyards, principally Mount Carmel and 3-D complemented by fruit sourced from Rio Vista and Zotovich. All of the vineyards were interpreted in the same fashion of our vineyard designate wines relying predominantly on whole cluster fermentation and only neutral oak elevage. Incredibly fresh aromatics of strawberry, rose petal and wild brambly fruit followed by flavors of strawberry, pistachio and pork. While very rich in the mouth, the finish is drying and focused marked by our telltale firm and spicy texture."
