"Meunier indicated that this was harvested at 13.6% yet despite the obvious ripeness, the now expressive nose is a complex mix of earthy dark berry fruit and game, mocha and chocolate hints that continue onto the strikingly rich and broad-shouldered flavors that are also suave yet powerful, all while retaining excellent focus and balance on the impressively long finish. This is the ripest wine in the range yet it stops well short of being candied or jammy. In sum, this isn't especially classy but it is delicious."
