Château de la Maltroye Bâtard-Montrachet 2006

Moderate wood influence fights a bit at present with the otherwise beautifully fresh and wonderfully elegant acacia blossom, white peach and apricot aromas that lead to citrus-infused full-bodied flavors that possess good power and volume as the sappy, persistent and mouth coating finish really broadens like a peacock's tail. Lovely stuff and while the wood is presently not subtle, it should integrate in a year or so.
