"The 2004 Riesling Brand displays apricot, apricot kernel, almond extract, lily of the valley and salt spray in the nose. Apricot and salts dominate on an almost chewy, dense palate that suggests the relative austerity and obvious sense of mineral density on display here is a function of the vintage. Salted apricot, piquant nuttiness, and saline and flint-like minerality inform a long finish. I would wait a couple of years before re-visiting it and not hesitate to cellar for up to 8-10 years in total."
